CMU CS Academy is an interactive online high school computer science curriculum. The course centers around interactive notes in different topic modules followed by coding exercises where students code small visual, interactive programs. CMU CS Academy also contains many teacher facing features that help with classroom management such as unlocking notes, quiz scheduling, viewing student progress, assigning grades, and more.
I started working on the project the Summer 2019 and have worked part time during each school year (Fall 2019, Spring 2020, Fall 2020, Spring 2021) until now. I also worked on the project full time during Summer 2020. I've worked on many aspects of the project and in many roles including: UX Design, UX Design Team Lead, Content Creator, Design Systems.
I have worked on many areas of the interface ranging from new accessibility features to new colors and visual style. On this page you can find a selection of the work I've done on the project including the exercise programming interface, coding graphics library documentation, and the splash and brand redesign.
